Newest inspiration—La Tigre
I came upon this Milano design studio in my RSS feed today—La Tigre. They have done everything from editorial design to identity design to infographic design, and I am simply in love with their work. Of course, the spread I came across that caught my eye in my RSS feed was from IL—Intelligence in Lifestyle magazine (the magazine that would be my dream job magazine), and I’m not surprised after seeing their other work that they would do projects for IL. La Tigre’s designs are bold, yet subtle, and command the pages they are printed on. The designs grab your attention with smart use of color and shape, and they make you want to engage with the information being presented. I can only dream of being part of a design firm like La Tigre one day, so for now I will use them as constant inspiration for my own creations :)
